Lgr125 Flood Restoration Dehumidifier for Sale

To determine whether a commercial dehumidifier is working properly, it can be comprehensively judged from three aspects: external status, operating data, and environmental changes. Here is a practical inspection guide.

External operation status inspection of the dehumidifier

1. Power supply and display

The power indicator light of the dehumidifier is on, and the display panel is working normally.

There are no alarm codes or flashing prompts (such as E1, E2 representing sensor or system errors).

2. Compressor operation

After starting the commercial dehumidifier, hear a slight compressor start sound or vibration;

After the compressor runs for a few minutes, there will be a significant temperature difference at the air outlet (cold front and hot back).

3. Fan operation

During the operation of the dehumidifier, there is a uniform and continuous airflow at the air outlet.

There is no abnormal noise or fluctuating wind speed.

4. Discharge of condensate water

The dehumidifier model using drainage pipes/water tanks should be able to continuously drain or accumulate water.

If there is no drainage during long-term operation, it may be due to dry air, blocked drainage pipes, or abnormal cooling.

Operation data and parameter judgment of the dehumidifier

1. Changes in humidity

Within 1-2 hours after starting the dehumidifier, there should be a significant decrease in ambient humidity (≥ 5% RH);

If there is no change in humidity for a long time, there may be insufficient refrigerant or blocked air circulation.

2. Temperature changes

The temperature at the air outlet is generally about 5-10 °C higher than that at the air inlet.

If the temperature difference at the air outlet is zero or even colder, it indicates abnormal heat transfer efficiency.

3. Current and power

Can be detected with a clamp meter or power meter: the operating current should match the nameplate markings (within ± 10%);

If the current is too low, it may be caused by insufficient refrigerant.

If the current is too high, it may be due to air duct blockage or abnormal compressor load.

Environmental effect assessment

Moisture reduction

Glass, walls, and floors no longer condense or become damp;

The surface of cardboard boxes and wooden products is dry and free of a mold smell.

Improvement of Air Quality

It no longer has a musty or stuffy smell.

Especially evident in warehouses or basements.

Continuous dehumidification capability

If the environmental humidity remains high and the equipment runs for a long time with good drainage, then the system is healthy.

If the drainage stops quickly after starting, it indicates that the humidity sensor or control system may be abnormal.

An abnormal situation prompts the dehumidifier

Phenomenon

Possible reasons

Suggestions

No condensate discharge

The environment is too dry/the drainage pipe is blocked/the refrigeration system is leaking fluorine

Check the drainage pipe, measure the temperature difference, and check the fluoride pressure

Frequent start-stop of the compressor

Humidity sensor misalignment/control system issues

Calibrate the sensor and check the motherboard

The temperature difference of the outlet air is too small

Evaporator frosting/air duct blockage

Clean the filter screen and check the defrosting system

Abnormal noise or vibration

Loose fan blades/loose compressor fixing screws

Tighten the components and keep them horizontally placed

The displayed humidity does not match the actual situation

Sensor aging

Re-calibrate or replace the sensor

Summary:

According to our company's engineers, a functioning commercial dehumidifier should meet the following four requirements:

There is wind, temperature difference, and condensate discharge.

The humidity gradually decreases.

No alarm code or abnormal noise;

The power and current remain stable within the normal range.

If your dehumidifier experiences any abnormal conditions, you can follow the instructions above for maintenance. If it cannot be resolved, contact the dehumidifier manufacturer as soon as possible for handling. If you want to obtain high-quality commercial dehumidifiers, please contact us. Preair is a dehumidifier manufacturer with over 20 years of experience. We are the source manufacturer and provide large quantities of high-quality and affordable dehumidifiers.
